OpenAI Account Credentials

Use OpenAI Account Credentials to establish a secure and authenticated connection between HCL UnO Agentic AI Builder and the OpenAI API. These credentials are essential for enabling AI agents to interact with OpenAI models for natural language processing and generation tasks.

Before you begin

Ensure you have the following prerequisites in place before setting up OpenAI credentials:

OpenAI Account: You must have an active OpenAI account.
API Key: Generate a valid API key from the OpenAI dashboard: https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys

Table 1. Mandatory fields
Option	Description
Credential Name	A user-defined unique name for this OpenAI credential. This is used to reference the credential in agent configurations.
API Key	Your secret API key generated from the OpenAI platform. This authenticates and authorizes requests to OpenAI services.
