Managing a credentials definition from the Dynamic Workload Console

About this task

The purpose of the following scenario is to show how to create credentials in the context of an example.

The scope of this scenario is to create the login credentials for an existing job definition that runs on a Windows operating system. The user name to create is Administrator.

Procedure

  1. Create the user:
    1. From the Design menu, click Workload Designer page, and then select the engine.
    2. In Explore area, click Create new + and choose User.
    3. In General Info, type the user name Administrator, then create and confirm a password.
    4. Save.
  2. Add the user to an existing job definition that runs on a Windows operating system:
    1. In Explore area, select the existing job definition of type Windows and click on Edit.
    2. In Credentials, enter the user name Administrator that you previously created, and type the associated password.
  3. Save.

Results

You defined a user for a job definition that runs on a Windows operating system.
