How do I specify the directory for the Discover symbolic link
Question
How do I specify the directory for the Discover symbolic link?
Answer
By
default, the Discover-DNCA package creates a symbolic link from /usr/local/bin/Discover to /usr/local/dncauser/bin/Discover.
You can specify an alternative directory for the symbolic link instead of
/usr/local/bin by setting environment variable
DISCOVERCMDDIR. It must be the fully qualified name of a directory. You must
set the environment variable before you start the rpm installation and upgrade commands and the
tpcinstaller.sh script.
Following is a sample invocation that specifies an alternate installation location for the symbolic link:
env DISCOVERCMDDIR=/usr/bin rpm -U Discover-DNCA-12.1-0.RHEL8.x86_64.rpm
