File menu

The File menu commands are the following:

New

Starts the Find Wizard, which helps you find elements to merge. Do this to perform a new merge that is not based on an existing one. Use Save or Save As to preserve the current merge so that you can resume the merge later.

Open

Opens a .mrgman file so that you can resume a previous merge. This lets you interrupt a merge, fix problems, and resume later.

Save

Saves the information associated with this merge in a .mrgman file that you currently have open for use.

Save As

Saves the current merge information in a different .mrgman file whose name you specify.

1, ... (Windows system only)

Lists the most recently used .mrgman files. The command is unavailable if no .mrgman file is found. Click an entry to open the file.

Exit

Prompts you to save an unsaved .mrgman file and quits the Merge Manager.
