About checking in elements in a VOB enabled for HCL Compass

If you use the base VersionVault integration with HCL Compass, the version you are checking in must be associated with at least one change request; otherwise, the checkin cannot proceed. When you check in the version, those change request IDs whose associations you made during checkout are displayed. You can do the following:

• Keep the same change request IDs.
• Delete some or all of the change request IDs.
• Add new change request IDs.

With the base VersionVault integration with HCL Compass, associations are created for new change request IDs that you add, associations are removed for change request IDs that you delete, and information is updated on existing ones on which you operate.
