Metadata

The Metadata command on the menu contains commands concerning data associated with versions.

Command

Description

Label > Attach

Attaches a label type to each selected version and queries whether to replace existing labels of that type.

Label > Remove

Prompts for a label type, then removes that label from each selected version.

Label > Label type

Starts a Label Type Browser to perform operations on label types.

Attribute > Attach

Prompts for an attribute type and value; then attaches that attribute to each selected object. The operation also queries whether to replace any existing conflicting attributes of that type.

Attribute > Remove

Prompts for an attribute type, then removes that attribute from each selected object.

Attribute > Attribute type

Starts an attribute type browser to perform operations on attribute types.

Hyperlink > Hyperlink type

Starts a HyperLink Type Browser.

Merge arrow > Create

Creates a merge arrow between two versions that you select.

Merge arrow > Remove

Removes a selected merge arrow.

Merge arrow > Describe

List information about the selected merge arrow.
