This menu controls which versions appear in the display.

Command

Description

All Versions

Select to show all versions of an element or clear to show only the important versions.

Checked Out

Select to include in the display versions that are checked out to any view. A text string in the version tree indicates to which view a version is checked out.

Obsolete

Select to show and clear to hide obsolete versions or branches. You, or your HCL VersionVault administrator, determine whether an object is obsolete. An obsolete object can be read but not changed (that is, you cannot check out or perform other HCL VersionVault operations on an obsolete object).

Merge Arrow

Select to show and clear to hide the arrow between versions that have a merge relationship.

Contributing

Select to show only the versions that have contributed to the selected branches or versions. Click at least one version or branch to make the command available. Reset Contributing any time you click a different branch or version.

Expand All Branches

Shows all versions (or only the important ones, depending on how the All Versions command (View menu) is set below all branches). You can collapse an individual branch by clicking the minus sign in a branch marker.

Refresh

Updates the version tree display.
