To attach a trigger to a HCL VersionVault object (Windows)

To attach a trigger to a selected object:

Procedure

  1. In Windows Explorer, right-click on the object and click VersionVault > Properties of Element.
    The General page of the Properties Browser displays.
  2. Click Triggers.
  3. Right-click in the Attached Triggers field, and click Add Trigger.
  4. In the Trigger window, enter a trigger type.
  5. If you are attaching a trigger to a directory element, set one or both of the following options:
    • Attach trigger to object, which attaches the trigger to the directory element
    • Add trigger to inherit list, which attaches the trigger to all elements created hereafter within the directory
  6. Click OK.
