To stop a dynamic view (UNIX system and Linux)
About this task
Dynamic views are stopped when you log off. You can use cleartool endview to stop a dynamic view when you no longer want to use it, if you do not want other users to access it, or if you need to reclaim system resources used by the view.
Procedure
At the shell prompt, enter the following command and the tag for
the view:
cleartool endview view-tag
The specified view is deactivated. The view remains accessible from other network hosts.
Use the –server option to also stop the view_server process of the view and prevent other users from accessing the view.
