Returning to a private branch

About this task

You gather some information, then return to the private branch.

To gather information to return to a private branch, obtain the following information:

  • The name of the private branch.
  • The branch point (identified by a time rule, a label, or a checkpoint) from which you started the private branch.

If you do not remember this information, or if the checkpoint was removed, use the following procedure.

Procedure

  1. Right-click an element that has versions on the private branch and click VersionVault > Version Tree.
  2. Find the branch in the Version Tree Browser and determine which label or time rule you can use to identify the branch point.
