To set a baseline naming template

Procedure

Use the –blname_template option with the cleartool mkproject or chproject command to set a template. For example: 
cleartool chproject -blname_template project,component,date mck_proj1
Use commas to separate the tokens in the command-line entry. When you create baselines, the commas are replaced with underscores. See VersionVault Command Reference for details about using chproject and mkproject.
This example sets a template that uses the project name, component name, and date in all baseline names created in the mck_proj1 project.
