To map record states to state types

Procedure

  1. Start HCL Compass Designer.
  2. Do one of the following actions:
    • If you are running Package Wizard in the HCL Compass Designer, advance to the Setup State Types window.
    • If the Setup State Types window of the wizard does not appear, click Package > Setup State Types.
  3. In the Setup State Types window, for each record type that is listed in Record Type, do the following actions:
    1. For each state in the States column, click in the adjacent cell under State Type to display the list of available state types.
    2. Select one of the entries.
    3. To display the states of another record type, click the arrow in the Record Type and select another of the available record types.
