Specifying the view tag
A view tag is the name by which a view is referenced.
If you are creating an automatic view, View tag is the only control that is displayed in the Create a VersionVault view dialog. If you are creating another type of view, one additional control is displayed that is specific to the view type.

Dynamic view | Drive letter | Enables you to access a single dynamic view. (The M:\ drive allows you to access any view). |
Snapshot view | View location | A local path that specifies where copies of VOB objects are to be stored. |
Web view | Copy area | A local path that specifies where copies of VOB objects are to be stored. |
