Use the Remove Branch Type option in the VersionVault Details view to delete branch types.
Before you begin
When you remove a branch type, any existing branches of
that type are also deleted.
Note: Removing a branch type and any
existing branches of that type destroys information irretrievably.
Performing this action carelessly may compromise your organization's
ability to support previous releases.
Procedure
To remove a branch type:

In the VersionVault Navigator, move to the VOB that contains
the branch type that you want to remove.
- Click the (+) next to the VOB name to expand the VOB node.
The Branch Types node is displayed.

Click the Branch Types node and available branch types appear in the
VersionVault Details view.
- Right-click the branch type that you want to delete and
select Remove Branch Type from the context
menu. Note that you can select multiple branch types.
Results
The branch type and all existing branches of that type are
removed. In some cases, certain branch types cannot be removed. If
this happens, you are prompted with an error message to this effect.
