To create a new label type

About this task

In the Apply Label wizard, Step 3, complete the following steps if you want to create a new label type:

Procedure

  1. Click Browse.
  2. In the Browse for Label window, select a VOB in the Which VOB do you want to display labels for? pane.
    If all of the elements you specified in the wizard are in a single VOB, this is unavailable.
  3. Click Create Label Type.
  4. In the Create window, type the name of the new label type in the Name field, and enter a comment in the Description field. Click Help for additional information.
  5. Click OK.
    The Create window closes, and the Properties window for the new label type opens. You can use this window to change editable properties of the new label type.
  6. Verify that the properties of the new label type are correct, and click OK.

Results

The Properties window closes, and the new label type is displayed in the Labels in vob-tag area of the Browse for Label window.
