Merging a new release of an entire source tree

The element on the left has versions 0 through 3 on the main branch and versions 0 through 5 on the enhance branch. The element on the right also has versions 0 through 3 on the main branch and versions 0 through 3 on the enhance branch. In both branches, version 1 has the VEND_R1 label, version 2 has the VEND_R2 label, and version 3 has the VEND_R3 label. For the element on the left, two arrows (marked previous merges) connect versions 2 and 3 on the main branch to versions 2 and 3 on the enhance branch.
