Installation order for HCL Marketing Software products

When you install or upgrade multiple HCL® Marketing Software products, you must install them in a specific order.

The following table provides information about the order that you must follow when you install or upgrade multiple HCL Marketing Software products.

Campaign (with or without eMessage)	Marketing Platform Campaign Note: eMessage is installed automatically when you install Campaign. However, eMessage is not configured or enabled during the Campaign installation process.
Interact	Marketing Platform Campaign Interact Design Time environment Interact Run Time environment Interact Extreme Scale Server If you want to install or upgrade the Interact design time environment only, then install or upgrade the Interact design time environment in the following order: Marketing Platform Campaign Interact Design Time environment If you want to install or upgrade the Interact runtime environment only, then install or upgrade the Interact runtime environment in the following order: Marketing Platform Interact Run Time environment If you want to install the Interact Extreme Scale Server only, then install the Interact Extreme Scale Server in the following order: Marketing Platform Interact Run Time environment Interact Extreme Scale Server
Marketing Operations	Marketing Platform Marketing Operations Note: If you are integrating Marketing Operations with Campaign, you must also install Campaign. The order of installation for those two products does not matter.
