Upgrading Unica Centralized Offer Management

You can upgrade Unica Centralized Offer Management to version 12.1.7 from version 12.1.x and 12.1.0.x

Upgrade from Unica Centralized Offer Management:

12.1.x → 12.1.7
12.1.0.x → 12.1.7

You must install the new version into the same directory where Unica Centralized Offer Management installed, so that Unica Centralized Offer Management can detect the upgrade.

Since Unica Platform and Unica Campaign is a prerequisite for Unica Centralized Offer Management, it is mandatory to have the latest version Unica Platform and Unica Campaign installed or updated. The install or upgrade sequence is as follows:

Unica Platform
Unica Campaign
Unica Centralized Offer Management

You can upgrade using one of the following modes:

GUI mode
Console mode

During upgrade, in any installation mode, select the appropriate option to take a backup of the previous version.

Although we have introduced support for PostgreSQL in 12.1.7, it is available only for clean installation of 12.1.7 and not when upgrading to 12.1.7.
