Enabling voice support

T-VREX TP3 enables voice support when in sharing mode. This feature is based on WebRTC, a free and open-source project providing web browsers and mobile applications with real-time communication via application programming interfaces.

To enable voice support on T-VREX, WebRTC needs a STUN Server to get its public IP address. It is recommended to use the public Google STUN Server. For configuration details, see Installing and Configuring T-VREX.

When you enable the sharing mode for a troubleshooting session - or when you receive a link to join a troubleshooting session-  a message pops up asking if you want to enable the microphone.

If you reply "Yes", a red dot appears on the UI header to inform you that the microphone has been enabled.
