You can specify the maximum size and number of log files
to be stored on the server.
Before you begin
Before performing this procedure, make sure you have the required
disk space. IBM® recommends that
the IBM Sametime® Gateway server
retain a history at least 2 GB in size, to assist with troubleshooting.
If you can spare more disk space than that, feel free to set the file
"Maximum Size" (shown in the table) to more than 20 MB.
About this task
Complete these steps using the Integrated Solutions Console
on the Sametime Gateway
server where the logs will be stored.
Procedure
- In the Integrated Solutions Console, click .
- In the "Server Infrastructure" section, click .
- In the "Additional Properties" section, click .

In the "General Properties" section, update the fields (listed in Table 1) both for
System.out and System.err sections.

- Return to Additional Properties.
- In the "Additional Properties" section, click .

Click File and update the fields (listed in Table 2) in the Trace
section.
