Configuring SIP proxy settings for load balancing in a SIP Proxy/Registrar cluster
In an IBM® Sametime® Media Manager cluster, configure IBM WebSphere® proxy server to accept both secure and non-secured traffic from the load balancer. Configure these settings on every proxy server in the cluster.
Procedure
- On the WebSphere proxy server, log in to the Integrated Solutions Console as the WebSphere administrator.
- In the navigator, click .
- In the proxy servers table, click on the name of the server that you want to configure.
- On the Configuration page, in the Proxy Settings section, expand SIP Proxy Server Settings, and click SIP proxy settings.
- For Container facing network interface,
type the physical IP address of the current WebSphere proxy server into each of the
following fields:
- UDP interface
- TCP interface
- TLS interface
- (Optional) Define load-balancer health checking settings
for this proxy server:
- Look in the "Load balancer health checking" section.
- In the Load balancer members IP address 1 field, type the physical IP address of the computer where Load Balancer is installed.
- In the SIP health check method name field, type OPTIONS.
- Click OK to save the proxy server settings.
- Save the change to the master configuration by clicking the Save link in the "Messages" box at the beginning of the page.
