Configure the IBM® Sametime® Community Services
to listen for client communications using the new DNS and port 443.
Before you begin
You must have already assigned an additional IP address to
the Sametime server,
then mapped a new DNS to it for use by the Community Services.
Procedure

Log in to the Integrated Solutions Console as the WebSphere administrator.

Click .

In the Sametime Community Servers list, click the
name of the Community Server that you want to update.

On the Connectivity tab, click Connectivity.

In the Community Services Network section, under , complete the following fields:
- Host name: Enter
community-base_DNS
For example, if your base DNS for the
server is
sametime1.example.com
, type the following name for the new
DNS:
community-sametime1.example.com
- Port: Enter 443

Click OK.

Save your changes to the master configuration by clicking the Save link in the "Messages" box
at the beginning of the page.
Results
With this configuration, the Sametime Community Mux
will listen for HTTPS-tunneled connections using host name
community-sametime1.example.com
on port 443.
