Creating an LDAP repository for Bandwidth Manager
Create an LDAP repository for use with IBM® Sametime® Bandwidth Manager.
Procedure
- On the cluster's deployment manager, log in to the Integrated Solutions Console as the WebSphere administrator.
- In the navigation tree, click Security > Global security.
- On the Global security page, in the "Available realm definitions" section, select Federated Repositories, then click Set as current.
- Click Apply.
- In the "User account repository" section, select Federated Repositories, and then click Configure.
- Under "Repositories in the realm," click Add Base entry to Realm.
- Click Add Repository.
- Complete these fields:
- Repository identifier: enter LDAP
- Directory type: enter the type of LDAP
- Primary hostname: enter the fully qualified host name of the LDAP server
- Stage: enter the staging server name, for example, stage.example.com
- Production: enter the production server name, for example, prod.example.com
- Port: enter 389
- Bind distinguished name: enter the name of the LDAP BIND account.
- Bind password: enter the password for the LDAP BIND account
- Login properties: leave this field blank
- Click OK.
- In the Distinguished name of a base entry that uniquely identifies this set of entries in the realm field, enter o=ldap.
- In the Distinguished name of a base entry in this repository field, enter o=example.
- Click Apply.
- Save this change to the master configuration by clicking Save in the "Messages" box at the beginning of the page.
