Controlling access in Sametime Advanced Servers
You can control access in IBM® Sametime® Advanced at the application level or at the feature level.
About this task
You
control access at the feature level by editing role settings in the
broadcast communities, chat rooms, and folders.
- Broadcast communities. Access to broadcast communities is determined by membership role and by broadcast type: public, private, restricted recipient, or restricted publisher.
- Chat rooms. Access to chat rooms is determined by assigning roles to folders in the chat room folder hierarchy and by chat room owner/creaters.
