Managing sites on the Video Manager Server
To manage a site on an IBM® Sametime® Video Manager Server, you can either edit a site's properties or delete a site.
Procedure
- Browse to the IBM WebSphere® Integrated Solutions Console on the server hosting the IBM Sametime System Console.
- Log in to the Integrated Solutions Console as the WebSphere administrator.
- In the navigation tree, click Sametime System Console > Sametime Servers > Sametime VMGR Servers.
- Click the Sametime Video Manager server name on which you are managing a site.
- Click Configure the Site Topology.
- From the Existing Sites list, locate the site you are managing
and then click Edit or Delete according
to what you want to do.
- If you are editing a site, on the Manage Site page, modify the
fields an needed, and then click OK.
- Site Details
- Site name - Enter a site name up to 128 characters.
- Site description - Enter a site description up to 200 characters.
- Bandwidth settings
- Maximum bandwidth (mbps) - Mark the check box and specify the total bandwidth limit for voice and video calls. If this field is not selected, voice and video calls can use all available bandwidth.
- Maximum bit rate (kbps) - Specify the per call bit rate limit for voice and video calls.
- Territory Settings
- Territory - Assign the site to a territory, and therefore, to a Video Manager cluster.
- Subnet settings
- IP address - Specify the subnet mask IP address.
- Subnet mask length - Subnet mask length in bits.
- Site Details
- If you are deleting a site, you are prompted as to whether you want to delete the site. Click OK.
- If you are editing a site, on the Manage Site page, modify the
fields an needed, and then click OK.
