Updating SIP Proxy/Registrar connection properties on the console
You can update connection setting information that the IBM® Sametime® System Console uses to connect to the Sametime SIP Proxy/Registrar.
Before you begin
If you are configuring the SIP Proxy/Registrar to use SSL (Secure Socket Layer), make sure the server's certificate has been added to the Sametime System Console's trust store using the Integrated Solutions Console ( ). See the WebSphere® Application Server product documentation for more information on adding certificates.
About this task
Follow these steps to update connection setting information.
Procedure
- Log in the Integrated Solutions Console.
- Click .
- In the SIP Proxy/Registrar list, click the Edit next to the deployment name of the SIP Proxy/Registrar with the connection information that you want to change.
- Under Connection Properties, enter the administrator's User name and Password for connecting to the SIP Proxy/Registrar.
- By default, the SIP Proxy/Registrar trusts other Sametime components. If you want to change this, then select Do not auto-accept SSL certificate.
- Click Save.
- Click Done to return the SIP Proxy/Registrar list.
- If you enabled SSL, restart the Sametime System Console for the changes to take effect.
