Opening Notes links

Notes links from third party applications can usually be opened by simply tapping them. If a third party application does not allow for links to open, then it may be possible to "Share" the link with HCL Nomad. A shared link will be opened by HCL Nomad as soon as Nomad is brought to the foreground.

Procedure

  1. In an application that supports sharing content, select a Notes:// link and tap Share from the resulting menu.

    If the content selected is a link, then HCL Nomad will be an available option in the Share menu.

  2. In the Share menu, tap the HCL Nomad icon. A view will pop up.
  3. Tap Post.

    The next time HCL Nomad is brought to the foreground the shared link will automatically be opened by Nomad.

Note: Link sharing is only available for devices using iOS 16.1 or higher.
