- Controlling who creates HCL Volt applications
  To configure who can create and delete applications, you need to modify the Access Control List (ACL) for VoltBuilder.nsf.

  Volt configuration settings are in VoltConfig.nsf in the volt folder of your Domino data directory (volt/VoltConfig.nsf). Use the Notes client or the Domino Administrator client to modify a configuration setting.

Add a custom theme

Refer to Volt configuration settings and enable the custom themes related settings:

customThemes.[ID].displayName
customThemes.[ID].location

Restart the Domino HTTP task.

Verifying a custom theme

A custom theme shows at design time in the same list as existing Volt themes. This includes the new application wizard and the Theme drop down in the Style tab.

Note: Once custom themes are added to the system, avoid changing or deleting theme IDs and locations. Changing these settings may affect existing applications. However, changing the display name won’t affect existing applications.

If you need to update an existing custom theme, the best and easiest way is to change the content at the theme location while keeping the location URL the same as before. The content change will seamlessly apply to all existing applications. No additional action is necessary.
