Working with Domino Files on an Apple device

You can use HCL Domino Workspace Mail for iOS with HCL Domino Files to share links to files, open file links, and save attachments. If the Domino Files app is not installed on your device, you will be prompted to install the app from the Apple App Store.

When composing a mail message, tap the Domino Files icon in the Mail options toolbar to select a file from Domino Files. A link(s) to the file(s) is inserted in the message body.

Alternative: From the paperclip icon, select Choose From Domino Files in the attach file dialog.

Tapping a Domino Files link in an email message opens the file in the Domino Files app for viewing.

Saving attachments to Domino Files

Attachments in email messages or calendar events can be saved to Domino Files via the following ways:

  • Tapping on the attachment and selecting Save to Domino Files from the dialog.
  • On Viewing of the attachment, tapping on the Share button and selecting Save to Domino Files from the share sheet.
  • On long-press of the attachment, select the Save to Domino Files option from the share sheet.
