How do I improve mail performance?
Performance options are available to improve performance if you find that messages are slow to open or inbox scrolling is slow.
- Select Settings > Other Settings > Performance.
- Use one or both of the following options:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| **Display Contact Photos** | If Inbox box scrolling is slow, turn off this option to improve performance by disabling the display of photos in your emails. |
| **Mail Optimization** | If mail box scrolling is slow or mail is slow to open, tap this option to improve performance. When prompted, select **Optimize Mail**. After you do, a check mark is shown next to this option, meaning that optimization is pending and will be done the next time you restart HCL Domino Workspace Mail.**Tip:** To restart Mail: - On iPhone X or later or an iPad with iOS 12, from the Home screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause slightly in the middle of the screen. - On an iPhone 8 or earlier, double-click the Home button to show your most recently used apps. Locate the Mail preview and then swipe up to close the app. |
