Prerequisites
DAOS (Domino Attachment and Object Service)
DAOS must be enabled on the Domino server before deploying the File Service. Without DAOS, the add-in cannot store file content and will not function correctly.
DAOS is enabled in the Domino server configuration document. At a high level:
- Open the Domino Administrator client and connect to the target server.
- Navigate to Configuration → Server → Current Server Document.
- Open the DAOS tab and set DAOS enabled to
Yes. - Set the DAOS base path (the directory where object files will be stored).
- Restart the Domino server for the change to take effect.
