Joining an instant meeting

Anyone with the meeting link can join an instant meeting.

The meeting link is in the following format.

https://*hostname*meetings.customname.com/meeting/*meeting name*

  1. Click the meeting link. The meeting opens in a new web browser window.

    Follow the instructions on how to configure and allow browser access to your audio output, microphone, and camera. MacOS users must perform additional steps to allow screen share. Refer to Screen sharing on MacOS for the details.

  2. Select Login. Do one of the following:

    • Sign in to your account. For more information, refer to Logging in and out.
    • Select Join as a guest. Enter your display name, and then select Join as a guest. Note: For security reasons, Domino Workspace requires all users to sign in as a guest or authenticated user before joining.

Joining an instant meeting from the Meetings homepage

You can also join an instant meeting from the Meetings homepage. Simply follow these steps:

  1. In a web browser, go to the Meetings homepage.

  2. Select Login. Do one of the following:

    • Sign in to your account. For more information, refer to Logging in and out.
    • Select Join as a guest. Enter your display name, and then select Join as a guest. Note: For security reasons, Domino Workspace requires all users to sign in as a guest or authenticated user before joining.

  3. From the Meetings homepage, select Get Started > Join an existing meeting.

  4. Enter the meeting name. Contact the moderator for the meeting details.

  5. Select Join.
