Using an Apple watch

You can use your Apple to create, read and reply to Domino Workspace Chat and Meetings messages.

You must be using the Domino Workspace Chat and Meetings App 12.0.6 or later. The Apple watch must be at watchOS 9 or later.

After you pair your Apple watch to your phone which has the Domino Workspace Chat and Meetings app installed, you can view and reply to Domino Workspace Chat and Meetings messages using your watch. Domino Workspace Chat and Meetings notifications are sent to the Apple watch even when the phone is locked.

  1. Install the Domino Workspace Chat and Meetings app on your Apple phone.

  2. Pair the watch with the phone. The Domino Workspace Chat and Meetings app displays when you open the Watch app on your Apple watch.

    The Watch app manages applications on the watch. If you decide not to use Domino Workspace Chat and Meetings on your watch, you can remove Domino Workspace Chat and Meetings using the Watch app.

  3. Set up a Domino Workspace Chat and Meetings complication on your watch face.

    Follow the process for your watch to add a complication.

    Note: Not all watches support complications.

  4. After the Domino Workspace Chat and Meetings app is available on your watch, you can use the watch to work with Domino Workspace Chat and Meetings messages.

    • To view messages do one of the following:
      • Tap a received Domino Workspace Chat and Meetings notification
      • Tap the Domino Workspace Chat and Meetings app icon on the watch's Home Screen
      • Tap the Domino Workspace Chat and Meetings complication
    • To start a new message:
      1. Tap New Chat located in the Chats screen. You might need to swipe down on the Chats screen to see the button.
      2. Locate the message recipient. You can type a name in the Search Contact field or tap the microphone and speak the name. When finished, tap Done.
      3. Select the recipient and type the message. Previous messages exchanged with the recipient are displayed.

    • To reply to a message, tap Reply and do one of the following:

    • Speak your reply message

    • Type the message
    • Use Scribble feature
    • Select a suggested response message
