HCL Docs is an extension to
HCL Connections Files and Communities. As an extension, it requires a number of the Connections
applications to be installed including Files, Communities, News and Common.
General:
- The Connections Version and Operating System
fields help provide information to HCL support or those helping with the deployment to ensure
the supported Connections server and proper version are being used.
- The OS account for install, Local
Content Store and Deployment Type should
be recorded but are not used directly by the HCL Docs deployment.
The Shared Content Store is used by the Extensions
and Viewer components and will need to be accessible by the Deployment
Manager node as well as the Viewer node(s).
