The following features are available to customers installing HCL Digital Experience (DX) Compose v9.5 CF224 on supported Kubernetes platforms:

Product overview

HCL DX Compose is a lightweight, fast performing, cloud–only digital experience platform for delivering content-centric and transactional experiences. DX Compose includes a core container called WebEngine that is built on the Open Liberty platform and operates on certified Kubernetes platforms. This architecture supports fast startup and execution times to deliver high-performance DX sites, and is capable of using the latest Java Development Kit (JDK) and Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) levels.

Getting the software

HCL DX Compose 9.5 is available in the HCL Software License Portal (Flexnet) to customers licensed for the HCL Digital Experience Compose v9.5 offering. HCLSoftware offering licenses can be viewed on the HCL Software License Agreements site.

In this release, instructions for use of select features are located in the HCL Digital Experience Help Center. These will be documented in the HCL Digital Experience Compose Help Center in future releases.

Content and Digital Asset Management

  • Create and manage content with Web Content Manager (WCM) and Content Composer - Set up the Web Content authoring environment. Learn more about setting up Web Content.

  • Manage assets with Digital Asset Management (DAM) - DAM is used for managing web-ready digital assets such as images or videos for use in content and sites built with HCL DX Compose. Learn more about enabling Content Composer and DAM in DX Compose.

  • Manage presentation of multilingual content - Use the Multilingual Content Solution (MLS) to coordinate publication of multilingual content. Learn more about the MLS.

  • Analyze site usage - Collect data about user behavior in your DX Compose sites and send that data to a service for analysis, using Active Site Analytics (ASA). Learn more about ASA.
