HCL Digital Experience Compose

HCL Digital Experience (DX) Compose is a lightweight, fast performing, cloud–only digital experience platform for delivering content-centric and transactional experiences. DX Compose includes a core container called WebEngine that is built on the Open Liberty platform and operates on certified Kubernetes platforms. This architecture supports fast startup and execution times to deliver high performance DX sites, and is capable of using the latest Java Development Kit (JDK) and Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) levels.

DX Compose supports site design and web content authoring features such as Web Content Management (WCM), Personalization, secure and role-based delivery, virtual portals, Script Applications, Digital Asset Management (DAM), and Content Composer. Integration capabilities are also available, including custom Script Applications, HCL Volt Foundry services, and HCL Leap, and support for open-standards APIs.

HCL DX Compose 9.5 is available in the HCL Software License Portal (Flexnet) to customers licensed for the HCL Digital Experience Compose v9.5 offering.

HCL Digital Experience Cloud Native

HCL DX Cloud Native is a digital experience platform optimized for deployment to Kubernetes container environments and supported on-premises platforms. It supports all of the capabilities of the HCL DX platform supporting DX deployments, including HCL Portal Server, WCM, DAM, and Volt Foundry components. HCL DX Cloud Native also includes modern, easy-to-use tools and open-standards APIs for business users and developers to build, optimize, and deliver digital experience solutions. HCL DX Cloud Native is a customizable, scalable, and high-availability solution that uses cloud-friendly technology to make deployment and operation easy and efficient.

HCL DX Cloud Native also includes:

  • Entitlements to HCL Volt Foundry on-premises components supporting Kubernetes Helm deployments to use in conjunction with their DX Compose environment. These capabilities add data integration middleware pre-built adapters, and workflow and API management services that simplify integrations and can quickly present the results through DX web pages to target audiences. You can develop these DX web pages using tools such as the Digital Data Connector, Script Application, or HCL Leap.   • Entitlements to HCL Leap, with the capability to create web applications for data collection and process automation. Easily integrate with DX Compose solutions to deliver customer and employee facing applications and forms, and transform processes to be more efficient.

  • HCL DX Cloud Native 9.5.1 and higher releases are available in the HCL Software License Portal (Flexnet) to customers licensed for the HCL DX Cloud Native 9.5 offering.
