Page Component Reference | HCL Digital Experience

Use this portlet to reference existing page component configuration content, such as when you want to use the same page component on a details page that was created for a landing or index page.

Adding the portlet to a page

  1. Go to the page where you want to add a Page Component Reference portlet.
  2. Click Edit Mode.
  3. Click Create > Content and drag one of the pre-configured portlets onto the your page to trigger the creation of the content item.
  4. Click Create > Applications and search for Page Component Reference.
  5. Drag the Page Component Reference portlet to the page and save the page.
  6. Reference the resulting content item on a details page by using the Page Component Reference portlet.
  7. Delete the original portlet from the index page.
