Uninstalling the product

When you want to remove the product software from your machine, use the uninstall option.

Before you begin

  • Before you uninstall the product software, close the product software, as well as any open web browsers, and all other applications that are enabled by the application.

Procedure

To uninstall the product software on Linux, click Applications > Programming > Uninstall option. In the Uninstall window, click Uninstall and follow the on screen instructions.
Note: If the you are not a root user, then you must follow these steps:
  1. Open the terminal and type the command $USER_INSTALL_DIR$$/$_<product name>_installation.
  2. Run the command sudo ./Change\ HCL\ OneTest™\ <product short name>\ \ UnInstallation.
To uninstall the product software on Windows machine, follow these steps:

  1. On the Start menu, click Add or remove programs option.
  2. On the Apps & Features page, click on the product software that you want to remove.
  3. Click Uninstall. A dialog appears with the warning message.
  4. In the dialog, click Uninstall and follow the on screen instructions. The product software gets removed from your system.
