Understanding HCL OneTest UI integrations
HCL OneTest™ UI supports
integrations with various Rational products such as IBM® Rational® ClearCase®, Rational Team Concert™,
and Rational Quality Manager
- Rational ClearCase
When you use Rational ClearCase with HCL OneTest UI, you have a choice of snapshot or dynamic views with Rational ClearCase. There are advantages and disadvantages to each view. - Testing with Rational Quality Manager
HCL OneTest UI can be integrated with Rational Quality Manager. You can execute the functional test scripts from HCL OneTest UI. - Functional Test scripts and Rational TestManager
When you associate a Functional Test project with a Rational project, you can play back scripts from TestManager, use the TestManager Agent to play back Functional Test scripts on a remote computer, and view scripts from TestManager. - Managed logs and Rational TestManager
When you create a Functional Test project, you can use the project separately, or associate it with a Rational project to take advantage of the integration features with TestManager. - Local and agent computers
When you associate a HCL OneTest UI project with a Rational project, you can use TestManager to run your Functional Test scripts on computers that you designate as Agent computers from a single Windows computer, called the Local computer. - Working with Test Manager
If you associate a Functional Test project with a Rational project, you can play back scripts from TestManager, play back scripts on a remote computer, and view scripts from TestManager. - Using TestManager datasets with HCL OneTest UI
If you have TestManager installed, you can use TestManager datasets with HCL OneTest UI through Rational Test Script Services (TSS) support.
