ClearCase state icons
If you use ClearCase® for source control management, the Solution
Explorer displays icons next to each file to indicate the state of an element.
Use the following ClearCase icons to determine the state of an element.

Ready, checked out. You can perform the appropriate ClearCase operation on this element. For example, you can check in this element. |

Warning, not in the expected state. You cannot perform a ClearCase operation on this element. For example, you try to check out this element but someone has reserved this element, or one of the supporting files associated with it. |

Not ready. You cannot perform a ClearCase operation on this element. For example, someone has reserved this element, or one of the supporting files associated with it. |
