Changing passwords on encrypted datasets
To secure test data, you must encrypt datasets. All the columns in a dataset are
encrypted using a single password. You can change this password at any instance.
Before you begin
You must have created a test that contains a dataset with at least one encrypted column.
Procedure
- Double-click the dataset in the Test Navigator. The dataset is displayed in a browser.
- Right-click the heading of the column and select Change password. The Change password pop-up window is displayed.
- Type the old password and the new password and confirm the new password.
- Click OK.
Results
The password on the encrypted dataset is changed.
