Recording tests from HCL OneTest UI

When you initiate the recording from HCL OneTest™ UI, the recording does not start until you open an app in the mobile client.

Before you begin

The workbench must be connected to the mobile client. For information about configuring the connection, see Configuring the mobile test client for Android for the Android mobile client.

Procedure

If no project exists, create a project.
On the mobile device, tap mobile client > Managed web applications.
Tap the app you want to record and tap Record. Now, you can interact with the app.
To stop the recording, close the app on the mobile device and click the Stop client icon in the workbench. The test is generated and available in the test project in the Test Navigator view.
