Creating components in a loop

You can create a component in a loop.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have created a loop in a teamspace.

Procedure

  1. Go to Components > Create Component in the Web UI.
  2. Select a loop name in the Loop field.
    You can only view loops of teamspaces to which you belong.
  3. Type the name for the component.
  4. Set the security type by clicking the Type lists, select a type, and click Add.

    Generally, the team and type are mapped to an object as part of team configuration in Deploy. For objects in loops, the team remains same as the loop team. So, you only need to set a type for the component.

    The Standard Component is one of the security type which is assigned by default.
  5. Select a source configuration type and complete properties based on the selected source configuration type.
    Each source configuration has a unique set of required and optional properties that are displayed after the configuration type is selected. For details on these properties, refer to the plug-in used to integrate the source type.
  6. Click Save.

Results

The components are listed in the Components pane.
