To set default actions for states

Procedure

  1. In the Rational® ClearQuest® Designer workspace, click Record Types > Activity > States and Actions to navigate to the record type state transition matrix.
  2. Double-click State Transition Matrix to display the matrix.
  3. Right-click the state column heading, and click Properties.
  4. Click Default Action.
    Before you can set default actions, you may need to add some actions to the record type.
    1. Double-click Actions.
      The Actions grid displays.
    2. Then click Edit > Add Action.
  5. Select the default action.
    Ensure that the default action requirements are met.
  6. Click File > Check In to check in the schema.
