This abstract controller command is used as the base for any controller command that uses the mediators to process a Process message. The Process controller will obtain the change mediator based on the noun type. The base physical entities that correspond to the noun are read and nouns are validated if they are present in the physical data store before proceeding with processing the requested actions. In the case of CREATE actions, the validation ensures that the requested noun does not already exist.
