RFQ Responses
This page allows sellers to manage the RFQ responses they have created. Only the most recent response sent to a buyer will be designated as Active or In-evaluation. The other listed responses provide a history of the response process for the selected RFQ request.
- View
- Select the status of the RFQ responses you want to see in the list. The choices are:
- All (all responses regardless of state)
- Draft (in preparation or being modified)
- Active (approved by approver and submitted to buyer)
- canceled (RFQ request is withdrawn by buyer and sellers notified, or buyer withdraws RFQ response)
- In evaluation (response being evaluated by buyer)
- Pending approval (being reviewed by approver if approvals has been enabled)
- Rejected (the RFQ response was not accepted by the approver, and was returned to a draft state)
- Retracted (response is removed from active state and is either modified or canceled)
- Won (the response was accepted by the buyer)
- Lost (the response was not accepted by the buyer)
- Won Complete (the response was accepted by the buyer and has been sent to the Order or Contract subsystem)
- Lost Complete (the response was not accepted by the buyer and the winning responses have been sent to the Order or Contract subsystem)
- Won Next Round (buyer accepts your response but creates a next round RFQ for continued negotiation)
- Lost Next Round (buyer rejects your response but creates a next round RFQ for continued negotiation)
- Response Name
- A unique identifier for the response.
- Remark
- Any remarks the seller typed in on the General response creation form.
- Status
- The current state of an RFQ request in the RFQ process. The choices are the same as described for the View field.
- Creation time
- The date and time the RFQ response was created.
- New (does not display if the RFQ request is closed)
- Click to initiate the RFQ response creation process by displaying the General form. If the indicated status is Won or Lost, the RFQ request has been closed.
- Summary
- Click to display details of the selected RFQ response, including response name, remarks, terms and conditions and product specifications.
- Change
- Click to initiate the RFQ response modification process for the selected RFQ response if it is in a Draft state. Displays the General form.
- Cancel
- Click to indicate that the response is no longer available for negotiation. It cannot be canceled if the buyer has accepted it.
- Submit
- Click to submit the RFQ response to the approver if approvals is enabled, or directly to the buyer. The state of the response changes to Active or Pending Approval.
- Retract
- Click to move the RFQ response from the Active state to Retracted state, where it can be canceled or returned to a draft state.
- Revert
- Click to move a response from Retract to a Draft state.
