Contracts or Accounts - Shipping Charge Adjustments
Use this page to define shipping charge adjustments for an account or contract. Use this page to view the master catalog, similar to the Catalog Filter.
Right-click the catalog tree entry (that is, catalog, category, or product) for which you want to set the shipping charge adjustment. A menu displays with the following options:
- Set Adjustment
- Changes the shipping charge for the selected catalog, category, or product. Select this if you
want to set a shipping charge adjustment. A secondary menu displays with the following options:
- Shipping mode
- Specify whether you want the shipping charge adjustment applied to all shipping modes or to a
specific policy as follows:
- All shipping modes
- Select this check box if you want to apply this shipping charge adjustment to all shipping modes for this account or contract. A shipping mode is the combination of the shipping carrier (the company that provides shipping services from a fulfillment center to a customer) and the shipping service offered by that carrier. For example, XYZ Courier, Overnight service is a shipping mode.
- Shipping policy for account_or_contract_name
- Select this check box if you want to apply this shipping charge adjustment to a specific shipping policy specified for the account or contract.
- Amount
- Type the amount of the shipping charge adjustment. For example, for a 10 percent discount type 10
- Type
- Select the type of adjustment: a fixed price (such as a 10 USD discount), percentage markdown (such as a 10% discount), and percentage markup (such as 10% increase).
- Cancel Settings
- Removes the explicit filter on a catalog tree entry. The selected catalog tree entry and any entries below the selected catalog tree entry inherit the filter setting from the selected entry's parent entry unless there is an explicit filter on a catalog tree entry.
- Expand
- Expands this catalog tree entry to display catalog tree entries belonging to the selected catalog tree entry. Large categories will take longer to expand than smaller categories as the information is retrieved from the server.
- Collapse
- Collapses the catalog, category, or product to hide products and categories belonging to the node selected.
