Auction scheduling

Auctions start automatically on the date and time you specify.

The ending date and time can be set as one of the following formats:

• A fixed date and time.
• A specified amount of time having elapsed since the last bid was received.
• The time when either or both of the first two conditions occur.

When an auction ends, WebSphere Commerce completes order processing and sends auction notification messages to winning bidders. Before running auctions for the first time, you must enable auctions.
