Publishing the Elite enhancements store archive

The EliteEnhancements.sar file is a store archive that adds features to the Elite starter store. Use the Publish wizard in the Administration Console to publish this store archive on top of the Elite-FEP.sar store archive.

The Publish wizard publishes the EliteEnhancements.sar file at the following path:
  • WebSphere Commerce DeveloperWCDE_installdir/starterstores/AddOnFeatures
  • WebSphere Commerce EnterpriseWebSphere Commerce - ExpressWebSphere Commerce ProfessionalWC_installdir/starterstores/AddOnFeatures

Before you begin

  • Review the features in the Elite enhancements store archive.
  • You must publish the Elite-FEP.sar store archive after you install the WebSphere Commerce Version 7.0 feature pack that contains the enhancements you want to use. When you install the feature pack, a new version of the Elite-FEP.sar store archive installs on your machine. This store archive contains the latest Elite fixes plus necessary extension points for the EliteEnhancements.sar store archive. The EliteEnhancements.sar store archive does not work properly with earlier versions of the Elite starter store.
