Task flow: Installing and enabling IBM Product Recommendations features (Feature Pack 5 and 6)
Use the following step-by-step guide to set up Management Center and the Aurora starter store to support displaying recommendations in the storefront from IBM Product Recommendations, formerly known as Coremetrics Intelligent Offer. The Aurora starter store includes e-Marketing Spots that can display recommendations from IBM Product Recommendations on five store pages. The Aurora store includes the supporting JSP and JavaScript files.
Before you begin
- Install WebSphere Commerce Version 7 Feature Pack 5 or 6 to install the integration software for IBM Product Recommendations.
- Publish the Aurora starter store for your feature pack.
Note: If your store pages need to display multiple recommendations from IBM Product Recommendations, update the WebSphere Commerce
configuration file to support multiple recommendations on a page. When you are updating this file,
add the following command to the
DoubleClickMonitoredCommands section of the
file:<command name="IntelligentOfferResultsView"/>
